Get InvolvedSince 1991, Yachana has had many triumphs in improving the standard of living in the Ecuadorian Amazon and the protection and conservation of the rainforest. The proceeds from Yachana Lodge, Yachana Technology and our other micro-enterprises help support the work of the Yachana Foundation and enable the continuity of our education programs designed to help the area’s indigenous and mestizo communities. While these ventures help the Foundation continue to thrive, it is through the generous support and donations of individuals like you that truly make a difference.
Donate NowMaking a donation will enable us to continue our work within the Ecuadorian Amazon. Your support will allow us to be able to continue to provide a valuable education to the Amazon youth through the Yachana Technical High School. We have created a new plan enabling donators to contribute just $10 per month. If we meet our target of 990 subscribers, then we will cover our monthly operating costs.
Checks made payable to Yachana Foundaiton USA can be mailed to:
Yachana Foundation P.O. Box 35 Mascoutah, IL 62258 USA
Yachana Foundation USA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible.
Food for a DayPresently, there are 103 students and 16 staff members at Yachana Technical High School. The students only produce a portion of the food on the school’s organic farm and additional supplies must be brought in from as far away as Quito. You can help by providing a day’s worth of food for the entire school. Please visit our Food for a Day page at Travelers’ Philanthropy to learn how.
Adopt an AcreYachana has purchased more than 4,300 acres of primary and secondary rainforest to date. By "adopting" an acre, you are helping preserve a rapidly diminishing part of our earth’s natural biodiversity. With these funds we are able to purchase and protect our forest. For more information about this opportunity visit our Adopt an Acre Page at Travelers’ Philanthropy.
Visit us at Yachana LodgeCome stay with us at Yachana Lodge, located deep within the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest on the banks of the Napo River. Our lodge is a world-class, award winning Geotourism destination with its profits funding Yachana’s education and conservation projects.
